Tim came to First Option in 1992 as a consultant, and we've not been able to get rid of him since. Tim looks after the legal, financial and commercial aspects of the business, while looking for excuses to be out of the office on long-distance walks, such as the 500mile Camino de Santiago.

Ruth joined First Option in 1998. She started as a support engineer and rose though the company to become Operations Manager in 2007. Ruth’s core area is to build on new and existing relationships along with managing our team of technical engineers. She is a fierce advocate of top-quality support and first class customer service.

After completing 22 years service in HM forces, Charlie joined First Option in 1999 to manage the roll out of a new comms solution aimed at Ford Retail Dealers across the UK. After completing the project well ahead of schedule, he went on to become the Automotive Support Manager, leading the technical helpdesk team for Jaguar, Ford and Land Rover. In 2007, Charlie joined the board of directors as Director of Support.

Richard joined First Option in July 1994 as a junior programmer and had a baptism by fire with an 80 hour week when First Option successfully set up a leading-edge video-on-demand system demonstration to Reuters in London! As Technology Director, Richard is principally responsible for all the shiny new toys, and despite a large amount of play time, he's still manages to put most people in awe of his network security and systems architecture knowledge.
